My goodness Philippines, how does somewhere so close to Manila even exist? It is amazing the stark difference you can see in a 45 minute drive south. Grabe! I love our weekend jaunts out of the city even if just for an afternoon. They help me feel alive and break the routine of the concrete jungle.

FLOW has always produced uplifting opportunities for likeminded individuals to gather and this was my personal favorite. Holy Carabao is a company I have long admired. Hindy Weber has been one of the kindest new friends in my new social media community but beyond that is leading a frontier. You can read more about that here. Flow and Holy Carabao coupling together for an event on the farm only makes sense. The atmosphere, the vibe and the classes were top notch. My baby and I enjoyed an afternoon at the farm munching on healthy snacks, were introduced to the art of shibori and feed animals to our hearts content. The magic is still alive and kicking in my memories.

Just beyond the farm shed we sat on wooden benches and enjoyed the breeze while we ate, learned and connected with new friends.

Craft class + being outside = my happy place. I have been loving all things shibori and this class sunk my heart even deeper into the craze. Our teacher (creator of world of patterns) was well prepared, the class was short and sweet and we all took home a final piece. I am still pondering what I will make with my shibori fabric.

I always love meeting 'insta friends' in real life and such was true with Paula. She is a real gem and looking so fresh pregnant.

Since we were down on the farm we had to play with animals! My little bugga got to feed goats and bunnies. He may have eaten his own share of carrots but oh well. We also went on a carabao ride and snorted with wild pigs. There was also a zipline for older kids which my older two will surely enjoy next visit. Also, if you look closely you will see a #goatselfie. No, I never take myself seriously and you should know that by now. :)

I'll say it again, Filipinos are the kindest! I fall more in love with this culture everyday. This sweet new friend shared half her bag of goji berries with a very hungry toddler. She made him smile like no other that day. Makai Bowls were also gracing the venue that day so I had to get my fix. If you are into health food, Flow Markets and Holy Carabao are where you want to be.

There is a really cool Farm Shed Cafe at Holy Carabao that sells drinks, small bites and has lovely interiors. Inside the other farm shed was the market place with mindful makers. It had a nice selection of health products, arts, toys and skin care.
