A Dining Experience Like No Other, Savage MNL

Since I am not a food critic just someone who appreciates food, I will keep this simple; If you don't like Savage Manila then I question who you are as an individual. Do you have a mouth? Can you taste? Do you have a soul? All kidding aside, this place is as legit as they come. No frills, strictly flames and a dedicated chef. If you devour the food shows Netflix produces come live the experience at Savage.

Let's Get Down To Business

Flames. Ash. Charcoal.  The medium used to create the primal delicacies at Savage. Even the in-house sourdough bread is baked over flames. Because of the unique cooking process coupled and downplayed simple menu, the meal delivers an experience like no other. My husband and I have not been this excited about a meal in years, each bite was thrilling.

EGGS OF THE DEVIL

Savage demands your attention right from the start, buckle up because the appetizers take you from 0-60 in no time flat. Something as simple as grandmothers deviled eggs, or even the capicola salad with rocket leaves,  become the most memorable part of the meal.

HEAVY HITTERS

As mentioned before, the menu and service at Savage does not let up. Moving on from the appetizers to main course does not disappoint. The flames and charcoal are used perfectly to demand your attention and make the steak and fish out stand alone.

Since drafting this post two weeks ago we have actually already visited Savage a second time and have plans for a third this upcoming week. We were wowed again with the dishes below.

DESSERTS

Again, I am not a food critic so my only words would be to not leave the night with out having dessert. They were all bangers insane delicious but by far the chocolate cake was my favorite. I am so glad Savage didn't go full primal and only serve berries for dessert and instead came up with these sweet endings.

Kladdkaka, Swedish chocolate cake
