A Halloween Table Setting

Alright, y’all know I love a good theme, holiday and crafting so here is my Halloween spread featuring some lovely local finds.

In years previous I had more time and energy and did amazing projects like this: time lapse video hanging pumpkins. This year I am exhausted, mostly from life, but I am still grateful I get to decorate and express myself by creating a festive ambiance in my home. It makes me happy.

I know Halloween traditions can be silly but why not have more fun, di ba? More fun in the Philippines talaga!

This year I didn’t buy anything but used what I had on hand to decorate. The jute placemats are not necessarily Halloween but fit the theme perfectly. They’re from local company, Liwayway. Liwayway curates and creates the absolute best collection. I love their style because of the bright colors. They obviously do neutrals well as well because these placemats are so fun! The black and white checkered abel napkins are from a trip to Ilocos Norte and ceramic plates are from Flying Dutchman (5 years ago).

I made this felt banner years ago with a friend, paper mache pumpkins I bought on sale at Pottery Barn and letter board from Lettergramph

I love creating a home with easy access to such incredible decor options. The Philippine arts and crafts are something that made me fall madly in love with this place. I hope you also find something to help you fall madly in love with the Philippines.
