Real Life Katniss Everdeen at Gandiva Archery
Oh Manila, you really do have everythaaaang! You even have an archery center to live out your dreams as a modern day hero. Remember when Katniss Everdeen was everyones idol? Now it’s your turn to try your hand at the sport.
Located conveniently right off EDSA and Shaw in Mandaluyong is the newly opened Gandiva Archery Center. The process to get started is relatively easy. You show up, fill out a form, pay your money and start shooting. You can choose from a number of target choices, one being the infamous zombie. An hour for only 350php will get you unlimited arrows and a coach. I suggest also asking for a finger protector as our fingers got quite sore.
Before you know it you’ll be shooting bullseyes or a zombie right between the eyes - your choice. Manila really does have everythaaaang!
