Legit Indian Food: Royal Indian Curry House|

Manila has everythaaaang including legit Indian food. My son attends a small international school and on days when I wait and pick him up I get to talk to friends from the Philippines, United States, Chile, Japan, Korea and India! My favorite question to ask all of them is where  I can find the most authentic food from their home country. Time and time again the parents from India proclaim that Royal Indian Curry House is the place to be! Rumor has it, the Prime Minister of India feasted at RICH while visiting the Philippines. I have no business rating Indian food but I am good at eating delicious food and I RICH two thumbs way up!

Royal Indian Curry House is located at 5345 General Luna, Makati, 1208 Metro Manila. The restaurant is open until 4 am and has a jeepney bar on the top level. RICH can be contacted at (02) 801 4435.

Cute + Comfy: Pearl Clothing & Salt Water Sandals|

Last December my husband and I spent our anniversary day tripping around Taal Heritage Town and for the first adventure in a long time I got to wear something cute! Good bye sports bra and exercise shorts, hello dress hat and even a purse! And now for my kikay day-out outfit. Would you believe my dress is actually breast feeding friendly!? While I am no longer breastfeeding I can't say no to cute clothes.  Pearl Clothing Company is a locally owned and run start up by two moms who wanted to create a line of affordable and flattering nursing pieces.

As for the iconic Salt Water Sandals cheering up my feet, I am happy to report they are now sold locally! Whoot whoot! You no longer need to order Saltwaters abroad, you and your sweet little one can be matchy matchy without the long wait.

Get Yo' Craft On: Common Room|

The first time I visited Common Room was during Katipunan Art Festival 2015! Too long! My eldest had a doctors appointment in the area and it would be a waste not to stop by the hip craft shop. Common Room is set in the heart of university life, smothered with all things youthful and quirky! What I love most about Common Room is that it features local makers and entrepreneurs.

Pictured below you'll see my Sunday night agenda. Every Sunday night I look forward to my writing time in my Sunday Night journal. I have been using it since the first week of the year and It is a perfect way to slow down and let introspection take over for a while. I highly recommend it!

Yiipee: A Bright & Cheerful Space|

Y'all know I am a mall rat, ain't no shame in my game. The other night we stopped to use a gift card we had been given to Yiippee. Aaker used his gift certificate to make his own journal. He picked out all the different pieces including a cover, paper design and binding ring color. If you need a creativity boost and love color, Yiippee is the place to be. They have pens galore, a space to create and other fun and quirky items. The items are fun and unique yet affordable.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend friends.
