Pinto Art Museum is a haven. It really was my refuge this last year. My first experience was three weeks after giving birth to my third son. We began to frequent the museum throughout the year. I love that it is an accessible drive yet I feel so far from the city while there. I have professed my love of my dreamy day trips before. The art collections in the gallery all feature local artists. I love how rich the Filipino culture is embedded. The art is everywhere, not just on the walls. On One occasion there was a featured artist sitting near the entrance who helped us park our car. Ha! That is what I love so much about these encounters. An artist helped us park! I am so frequently enchanted by the Philippines.

The main reason I love Pinto though, are the grounds. The Southwest of The United States is captivating to me. I love the Southwestern architecture and Pinto is so reminiscent of the style. Day beds and sitting areas are sprinkled all over the grounds. It never feels crowded, even if it is. There is so much roaming space. We really do spend hours when we go.

My husband and I dream of building a home similar to Pinto Art Museum. Pinto is no respecter of age or art history background. All are welcome and uplifted. I think we really did stay in this area close to one hour. There is a small bar in the covered veranda that serves food and drinks.Lesirue spots for everyone. Babies, boys and baes.

The colors are so alive! My first trip I didn't realize how nature hungry I was until I found myself wishing I could just make a home in the roots of a tree. Ha!

The sweet Filipina under the umbrella has a smile on her face. This is how I hope to remember Filipinos.

My personal favorite of any place are always the textiles. This piece was so rad. It is stitched and sewn fabric. There is a whole room of raised needle work pieces. Phenomenal! Pinto is a fantastic place to take visitors, even hairy older brothers. It has culture, beauty and still only a short drive away. My little explorer.

When driving to Pinto you will drive through a private village very near, that requires a small fee, around 10php. The guards are all very helpful with directions.
There is a restaurant but I believe it is only open on the weekends.
Food is not permitted but snacks like sky flakes etc are for sale.
Photography is allowed. You can walk all over the grounds. There is an Ifugao gallery on the north part of the property passed the pool. Explore everywhere! Sit everywhere. Bring sketchbooks. Whatever!
